A very welcoming traditional Italian restaurant with great, warm service! This place is popular for good reason - delicious food and nonpretentious service, guests, and everything. My meal was fantastic. As someone who eats no sea creatures, veal, lamb, etc., I found the menu accessible for me, and those who are vegetarian. Vegetable minestrone, roasted cauliflower, and a lovely chicken picatta, with lemon, caper butter served over linguini with parmesan. Chocolate mousse cake too! I highly recommend this restaurant!
Took my wife here for Valentine's Day. The food was good and the customer service was excellent.
Service Food Ambiance was amazing would definitely go back. Enjoyed everything about the place
My husband and I made reservations for Thanksgiving Dinner, weeks ago, for Chez Frenchie's. We weren't sure what restaurants were open for Thanksgiving so we reserved the first place we called. BIG MISTAKE! When we got there and were seated, we sat at our table for a half an hour and NOBODY came to our table, not even for water!!! Servers passed by our table and we were completely ignored. So, I got my phone out and called next door to Trattoria Dario Restaurant and asked them if they had any available tables, seeing that it was Thanksgiving, and the hostess there said yes and that they could seat us immediately. So my husband and I got up and left Chez Frenchie's and walked over to Trattoria Dario Restaurant. We should have made our reservation at Trattoria Dario's instead, but we didn't know they were open. We got there and we were seated immediately. We had Taylor R. as our server and she was amazing!!! We were served immediately. The food was absolutely amazing!!! We ordered two Beef Carpaccio for appetizers, and I also had a side Caesar Salad. For dinner my husband had the Bone In Veal Chop with Mashed Potatoes and Brussel Sprouts, and I had the Paccheri Aragosta which is usually Shrimp and Lobster with Pacheri Pasta with a sherry wine pink cream sauce with peas, but I asked if they could specially make it with linguini pasta instead and with a garlic butter sauce with no peas. I felt a little uncomfortable asking for a dish to be made differently, seeing that it was a holiday, but they made it for me no problem. I'm so happy this unfortunate mishap happened with Chez Frenchie's because Trattoria Dario was incredible and our server Taylor R. was amazing!!! We definitely will be returning!!!!
Food: We really enjoyed the large menu and had a hard time choosing what to order because multiple dishes looks really delicious! Calamari - the calamari was crispy and not overly fried. The only missing piece is that it was not seasoned at all so we added some salt and pepper. Beef carpaccio - we really enjoyed the beef carpaccio! The arugula was perfectly lemoned on top. There were semi-raw mushrooms in the arugula salad on top which we think don't need to be there. Beggar's purse with crumbled sausage added - this was delicious and unique! The light pear flavor balanced well with the perfectly truffled cream sauce. Snapper - the snapper was buttery and perfectly sauced. Service: The service was excellent-- our waiter has the idea to add the sausage to the beggar's purse dish and this was a fantastic idea. Ambiance: We love the mood lighting and red booths. Very cozy restaurant!
Delicious, great options for inside or outside dining, bar or quiet room, TVs or private and reserved. The staff is just attentive enough, not overly heavy handed. The wine selection is deep and the cocktails varied. And the menu is not just the same old italian repeats, though the standards do appear
Amazing date with my husband. We live in Ft Lauderdale, and came to Sebastian for a little getaway and this restaurant made it perfect!!! Donny, our server was excellent! And their beggars purse was to die for!
My favorite Italian restaurant in Vero changed formats a couple years ago so this was my first time visiting what has become the Family's go-to Italian spot. I had the carpaccio, a caesar salad and the orecchiette Barisi, it was unbelievable. Finished the meal with a wonderful tiramisu and cappuccino. The service was outstanding. There is nothing special about the feel, the ambiance of the place, acceptable, not great, but when the food and service is five-star, you don't need to be further tantalized by your surroundings.
